The city of Dallas had an image problem. And the old “everything’s bigger in Texas” stereotype wasn’t helping, either. Even the residents couldn’t agree on what the city stood for.
But with a sprawling arts district, a vibrant restaurant scene, world-class museums, endless shopping and an ever-growing skyline, Dallas is bigger than ever.
We wanted the world to know that “big” is about more than just size—it’s about unforgettable moments that can only happen here.

BIG Birthday
In a city where BIG things happen, there is always a surprise in store. For the first anniversary of the Dallas BIG campaign, we gave a little something back to the people of Dallas in the form of special gifts. We placed giant gifts between the B&Gs at popular locations around Dallas and shared the news with our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram fans. People flocked to the locations from all around the city for the chance to collect a prize.
